Ankie.N
Ankie.N originates from the Arctic region of Sweden but now paints from her
studio on the Gold Coast, Australia.
Ankie.N has travelled and studied the Arctic Lapland in Sweden, Norway and
Finland finding continual influences for her work.
The unique quality of Ankie.N's artwork is drawn from her facination of
the Arctic environment as well as from her exposure to the culture of
the indigenous Scandinavian's - the Saami people.
The result is expressive artworks that are highly invidualistic and contemporary.
Ankie.N has always prided herself by being an inovator not an imitator.
Currently her work is represented in private collections in Europe,
the United States and Australia.
